Ice Cream Smoothie
Ice cream is amazing, right? I’m all for occasional guilty pleasures, but my favorite is to turn guilty pleasures into healthy pleasures. This smoothie has all the yum of ice cream without all the sugar and dairy. The secret is frozen bananas. It makes whatever you mix it with sweet and creamy. Just let a bunch of bananas ripen, take off all the peels, put them in a zip lock bag, and pop them in the freezer. The next time you get a sweet tooth craving they’ll be waiting for you.
There are a plethora of ingredients you can mix it with to come up with new concoctions all the time. Here I will feature two of my favorite recipes. They’re so quick and easy. Enjoy, without the guilt!
Healthy Pleasures-
Banana Mango
1 frozen banana
a handful of frozen mango
Almond milk to desired consistency
1-2 TBS BodyBoost Colostrum
Put all contents into a blender and blend until creamy
Banana and Almond Butter
1 frozen banana
1-2 TBS Almond Butter
Almond milk to desired consistency
